Estimated Shipping Costs for Fresh Leis & Fresh Flower Accessories

The cost of shipping fresh leis, fresh orchid accessories and fresh ti leaves is determined NOT by the value of your order but rather the total weight, volume, and delivery address of the entire order. We offer a resource for estimating shipping charges as well as explains express shipping options and available delivery dates at:

DAYS OF THE WEEK ARE DELIVERIES AVAILABLE

Monday deliveries are NOT available for fresh leis, fresh flower accessories, and/or fresh loose ti leaves. This is because if a package is shipped from Hawaii on a Monday to:
a destination West of the Rockly Mountains the soonest it would arrive would be Tuesday.
a destination East of the Rocky Mountains the soonest it would arrive would be Wednesday.
The leis can not be shipped on a Friday to arrive on a Monday or Tuesday due to they would be traveling too long and would most likely arrive in unusable condition. The gel ice the fresh leis and flowers are shipped with lasts up to 48 hours so fresh items need to arrive to within 2 days from when they are shipped. Fedex does not fly packages out of Hawaii on Saturdays and Sundays so those are not shipping date options to get delivery on Mondays.  

Tuesday deliveries are only available to most destinations west of the Rocky Mountains including: California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. Also included are some areas of Arizona, Alaska, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. Deliveries are not available on Tuesdays to any destination East of the Rocky Mountains because if we ship the order on Monday the soonest it would arrive East of the Rocky Mountains would be Wednesday.

Wednesday-Friday deliveries are available to all 50 states in the USA.

Saturday delivery: Federal Express offers a Saturday delivery service but it is considered a special delivery, it is more expensive, and is not available to all area (primarily large cities) OR anywhere in the state of California.
If you would like Saturday Delivery please call Federal Express at 1-800-463-3339 prior to placing your order to verify it is an option for the zip code you want to ship to. When you connect to the Federal Express number hit the "0" to go to a live person and ask them to verify if Saturday delivery is available for a specific zip code. The Fedex customer service representative will ask you the zip codes for where your order will be shipped from and where it will be shipped to, tell them shipping zip code is 96815 and also provide them with your desired delivery address zip code.

UPDATE: Saturday delivery is not available to any destination within the state of California effective October 2005 when the state of California Agricultural Inspectors discontinued working on Saturdays due to budget cuts.

Sunday deliveries are not offered by Federal Express so are NOT available for fresh leis, fresh flower accessories, and/or fresh loose ti leaves.

SHIPPING WITHIN THE STATE OF HAWAII
If you are a Hawaii resident or are someone who will be visiting Hawaii and would like to have fresh leis or fresh accessories shipped to you while you are in the Hawaiian Islands the shipping within the state of Hawaii follows the same delivery days avaialble as California with the following exceptions:
*the shipping rate within Hawaii is much LESS EXPENSIVE than mainland destinations
*Saturday delivery and 2-Day delivery are not available

FEDEX EXPRESS SERVICES AVAILABLE

WEST COAST DESTIONATIONS = California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washinton. As well as some areas of Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana
PLEASE NOTE IT PHYSICALLY TAKES 1 DAY TO GET FROM HAWAII TO WEST COAST DESTINATIONS USING FEDEX STANDARD EXPRESS AND PRIORITY EXPRESS SERVICES.

EAST OF THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS DESTINATIONS = Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin.
PLEASE NOTE IT PHYSICALLY TAKES 2 DAYS TO GET FROM HAWAII TO ALL DESTINATIONS EAST OF THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS USING ANY EXPRESS SHIPPING SERVICE.

FEDEX ECONOMY 2-DAY EXPRESS is the least expensive of the express shipping options. Fedex Economy Express will get orders to most destinations anywhere in continental USA in 2 days with guaranteed delivery between 8am-7pm on the 2nd day. Please note there are some very remote areas where Fedex actually requires 3-days when shipping Economy Express. For these very remote areas Economy Express will not be an option since orders must arrive within 2 days.

FEDEX STANDARD OVERNIGHT EXPRESS will get orders to West Coast destinations 1-day after it is shipped with guaranteed delivery between 8am-3pm. Orders to destinations East of the Rocky Mountains will arrive two days after it has been shipped with guaranteed delivery between 8am-3pm.

FEDEX PRIORITY OVERNIGHT EXPRESS is the most expensive of the express shipping options but is highly recommended for delicate leis made with flowers like tuberose, plumeria, pikake, ginger, carnations, or ilima. Fedex Priority Express will get orders to West Coast destinations 1-day after it is shipped with guaranteed delivery between 8am-12pm in most areas. Orders to destinations East of the Rocky Mountains will arrive two days after it has been shipped with guaranteed delivery between 8am-12pm in most areas.

SHIPPING PRICES
Every order is different because the cost of shipping is determined NOT by each individual lei value but rather the total weight, volume, and delivery address of the entire order. Below we offer a weekday shipping price estimates for Economy Express, Standard Overnight Express, and Priority Overnight Express options.

BILLING FEDEX SHIPPING CHARGES TO YOUR FEDEX ACCOUNT
If you have an account with Federal Express we would be happy to have the FedEx shipping charges billed directly to your account so that you receive any discounts on their shipping charges that you qualify for. You would still be required to pay for the packing materials (boxes, foam coolers, gel ices), agriculture inspection, and the leis/flowers ordered using a credit card however the Fedex shipping charges would be billed directly to your Fedex account. For this option you are required to place your order by telephone by calling 1-888-256-4214 M-F 9a-3p Hawaii time/11a-5p Pacific/12p-6p Mountain/1p-7p Central/2p-8p Eastern. You must be authorized to bill to the Federal Express account and in addition to providing the Fedex account number you will be required to provide the name the account is listed under with Federal Express. We will verify with Fedex prior to shipping that the account information provided matches their records. If for any reason the charge is declined once billed to the Fedex account your credit card used to pay for the  packing materials, agriculture inspection, and the leis/flowers will be billed for the Fedex shipping charges plus a $25 processing fee.

WHEN YOU SHOULD PLACE YOUR ORDER
You should place your order no later than 1 week prior to your desired delivery date to ensure fulfillment. You are required to provide a specific delivery date when ordering so you can place your order up to three months in advance, once you know what you would like. MONDAY is the last day that an order can be made and be received on the Friday of the same week.
